What are the responsibilities and job description for the Forklift Operator - Recycling Plant position at Waste Connections US, Inc?
We are looking for an experienced equipment operator to add to our team at our recycling plant in Albuquerque, New Mexico!
In this position you will be operating our Forklift, and on occasion the Front End Loader and baler, also along with trucks and smaller equipment at our recycling facility.
17.00-$20.00 per hour DOE
- 4,000 STAY ON BONUS
Schedule : M-Thu 12 hour shifts 3pm - 2 : 30am
Days Off : Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE :
Pushing recyclables onto an incline belt
Loading recycle materials in a hopper
Loading, dump trucks, open top trailers, pushing up piles of yard debris, rubble
Responsible for equipment inspection
Assisting customers and employees as needed.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Proven experience in operating Forklifts and Balers
Ability to be self-directed as well as work in a team environment
Ability to work in all weather conditions
Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
