Heavy Equipment Operator – Waste Connections
Location : Fountain, Colorado
Pay : $23 - $26 / hr (DOE) | 50-55 hours per week | Overtime paid after 40 hours
Bonus : Eligible for safety bonuses

Responsibilities :
- Operate heavy equipment, including :
- Compactor – Spread and compact trash
- Dozer – Spread daily cover
- Excavator – Excavate soil
- Grader – Maintain haul roads
- Haul Trucks – Transport soil
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Follow safe operating practices at all times
- Utilize strong interpersonal skills for excellent customer service
Requirements :
Valid driver’s license
Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
2 years of experience preferred
Working Conditions & Physical Effort :
Requires strenuous physical activity (lifting / pushing / pulling objects over 60 lbs.)
Work outdoors in various weather conditions (wet, humid, exposure to fumes / vibrations)
Noise levels are usually moderate
