The position will be responsible for supporting IT / Telecom Equipment within our Empire Division of Waste Connections, which spans across New Your City & into New Jersey. This position requires you to be the face of Waste Connections I.T. Department, responsible for working with multiple sites and users in maintaining Waste Connections Network. Position requires physical installation of security camera systems, IT Closets; installation of routers, switches, patch panels, etc. Along with software configuration skills of routers, switches, computers, phones and audio / video equipment. Position is a face-fast paced position that requires one to be self- motivated, strong time management skills and have a customer first mentality.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science OR related field experience
- 2 years or more of Network Administration OR willing to learn.
- Experience working with Microsoft O365 and Office Applications
- Independent worker with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communications skills a must
- Strong customer service and time management skills
