Tehama County Landfill , a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscious General Laborer to join our team in Red Bluff, CA!
The schedule will be Thursday-Monday 8AM-4 : 30PM.
Starting pay will be $21.00 per hour. The pay range for this job category is $21-$23 per hour.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Greeting and directing customers.
Cleaning equipment.
Maintaining cleanliness of the area.
Heavy lifting throughout shift.
Traffic management.
Operating machinery and equipment.
Working outside in all weather conditions.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT :
Work involves constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, toxic chemicals, bio hazardous materials, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and / or loud noises
Extensive physical activity. Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds.
Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Ability to operate heavy equipment and large vehicles.
Ability to adhere to Company policies and rules that are set forth; promotes the Company’s safety standards; work with a sense of honesty, integrity and trustworthiness.
Ability to adhere to work schedule and follow through on challenges as they arise
Minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
