Preventative Maintenance Technician

Lemay Pierce County Refuse, a Waste Connections company, has an immediate position open for a Full-Time Preventative Maintenance Technician to work on our fleet of garbage trucks and trailers in Frederickson, WA . Monday to Friday, 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 30 PM Overtime : Average of 3-10 hours per week Compensation :

Starting pay : $29.00 - $30.25 per hour

Shift differential : $1.50

Total starting pay : $30.50 - $31.75 per hour Responsibilities Include :

• Completes required paperwork utilizing the fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documents parts usage, and accounts for repair times.
• Ability to effectively communicateand understand service schedules and / or repairs
• General shop maintenance / cleaning duties as needed
• Equipment safety checks
• Communicate with drivers for issues in the morning and afternoon
• Reviews, completes, or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance on a variety of commercial vehicles, including yellow iron.
