Job Description :
Work with the district office manager to implement Waste Connections technologies that will help improve customer experience and create efficiencies, when appropriate
Work with the district sales manager to develop marketing materials to promote services to drive sales and improve brand awareness
Examples :
Create marketing campaigns
Create marketing materials such as :
Ads for Sponsorships
Billing Inserts
Digitals Ads
Educational Materials for Municipalities
Email Blasts
Marketing Mailers
Welcome Packets
Coordinate external special events such open houses & ribbon cutting ceremonies
Coordinate internal events such as our company Bike Build
Photo / video shoot coordination when necessary
Handle website updates when necessary
Social Media Calendar & Content Creation
Be a community liaison – representing the company at sponsored events to build brand awareness & goodwill
Work with the district manager to coordinate community donations, the logistics of doing check presentations, and promoting through the appropriate marketing channels
Requirements :
2 years of experience
Degree preferred
Self-starter with a passion for community work
