What are the responsibilities and job description for the Diesel Engine Technician position at Waste Connections?
We are looking for a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Waste Connections. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks including vehicle safety checks, maintenance repairs, and documentation of work completed.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in heavy truck equipment maintenance and repair, with a minimum of 2 years of experience. They will also have their own set of tools and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
This is a full-time position with a starting time of 3:00 PM and shift duration of 10-12 hours, with occasional overtime. The salary for this position is $23.00 - $30.00 per hour, and benefits include medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, long term disability, life insurance, and 401K retirement plan.
