About the Job
As a Diesel Mechanic at Waste Connections, you'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of heavy equipment and trucks, performing repairs and maintenance to keep our fleet running smoothly. You'll also have the chance to work with a dynamic team and develop your skills and knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services on hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and perform service calls as needed.
Requirements
- Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement preferred or the ability to obtain in the future.
- Must provide own personal tools.
