Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Waste Connections in Albuquerque, NM.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and be able to perform repairs and preventive maintenance services on our fleet of trucks.
Responsibilities:
- Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services on vehicles and equipment.
- Utilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs.
- Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
- Completes required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times.
Requirements:
- 2 years experience in heavy truck equipment maintenance and repair; or completion of accredited vocational technical school program.
- CDL Class B with Air Brakes State MVR.
- Must be able to lift 75lbs.
- Must have own hand tools.
