What are the responsibilities and job description for the Heavy Equipment Mechanic position at Waste Connections?
We are looking for a highly skilled Heavy to join our team in Monroe, LA . at our landfill.
- First shift, starting at 10 : 00 a.m. Working 10-12 hours a day, 50- 60 hours a week. Monday - Friday, occasional Saturday's.
- Pay Range : $20 / hr. - 26 / hr.
- Tool allowance of $150 per month towards your tool kit.
- On top of competitive wages, we offer excellent benefits, 401k match $1 per $1, and vacation.
Job Summary
Performing preventative maintenance, repairs on hydraulic and electrical systems, along with parts replacement and minor engine repair on our garbage trucks and heavy equipment.
