What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Maintenance Mechanic position at Waste Connections?
We are looking for a safety conscienceIndustrial MaintenanceMechanicto join the team atour recycling facility in Apache Junction, Arizona!
M-F: 7AM - Done (50-55 hours per week)
Pay: $25.00 DOE
As a tech in our site, your focus will be on the overall health/maintenance of the plant and as well as operating equipment such as forklifts and skid steers. This will also involve: inspections, diagnosing, and issuing repairs tomechanical, electrical,hydraulics, grinders, shredders andconveyor systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform service calls for plant issues and breakdowns.
- Preform minor to major repairs/PM maintenance.
- Maintain a safe, clean environment incompliancewith corporate and OSHA, NFPA standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1 year of proven experience in the fieldpreferred
- Ability to work an average of 40-50 hours a week
WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL EFFORT:
- Outdoor work in all weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs.
- Maintains a clean, safe work area incompliancewith corporate and OSHA standards.
Garbage is very stable and we work year round!
