Landfill General Laborer ( Lake Panasoffkee, FL)

Waste Connections has an immediate position available for a Landfill General Laborer at the Heart of Florida Landfill in Lake Panasoffkee, FL.

In this position you will -

• Assist in cleaning and pressure washing as needed.
• Manual labor including paper picking, keeping landfill clean and presentable.
• Perform yard/lawn maintenance and including cutting weeds.
• Perform general office maintenance and repairs including painting and janitorial work.
• Assist customers by responding to inquiries.
• Train to operate a tipper.
• Assist in other duties as needed.
  
  

Must have the ability to work outside throughout an 8 hour shift.

The position is full time Monday-Friday day shift with some Saturdays.

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
