About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team at our Gassville, AR hauling site.
As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of garbage trucks.
You will work closely with our team to ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and repaired, and that all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on diesel engines and related systems
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems
- Replace worn or damaged parts and perform minor engine repairs
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods
