About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Goodrich, Texas. As a Diesel Mechanic at Waste Connections, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining heavy equipment and trucks, including routine maintenance and repairs to engines, chassis, and body components.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain heavy equipment and trucks
- Inspect equipment and vehicles for condition, operations, parts, and fluid levels
- Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment
- Complete required paperwork and review Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year's experience in diesel repair and maintenance
- Knowledge of hydraulic repair
- Able to utilize vehicle computer electronics systems
- Ability to work safely and efficiently
