Job Summary:
As a Residential CDL Driver at Waste Connections, you will be responsible for safely operating a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste. You will read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a garbage truck on designated routes
- Read and follow route sheets to ensure all customers are serviced
- Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety equipment is in working order
- Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift and load refuse
Requirements:
- Clean driving record
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks
