Sales Analyst-Waste Connections-Manhattan

Waste Connections of New York is looking to add a Sales Analyst to our growing sales team in Manhattan, NY. This role will sit in office Monday-Friday 8a-5p.

Pay for this role will range from $28.00-$36.00 depending on relevant experience.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Entry-Level Sales Analyst to join our dynamic sales team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about data analysis, sales performance optimization, and market research. The Sales Analyst will be responsible for collecting and analyzing sales data, identifying trends, and providing insights to support data-driven business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze sales data and generate reports to track sales performance, trends, and forecasts.
• Assist in developing dashboards and sales metrics for management review.
• Support the sales team with data-driven insights to improve revenue growth and efficiency.
• Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities and competitive positioning.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to optimize sales strategies.
• Contract Management and bid preparation
• Assist in sales pipeline management and reporting.
• Prepare presentations and reports summarizing key sales insights.
• Utilize CRM software and other analytical tools to manage and analyze customer data.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to interpret complex data sets.
