What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sorter position at Waste Connections?
Tehama County Landfill, a Waste Connections company, is looking for a safety conscious Sorter to join our team in Red Bluff, CA.
The schedule will be Monday to Friday from 7am to 4:40pm.
Starting pay will be $21.00 per hour. The pay range for this job category is $21-22.00 per hour.

Responsibilities Include:
- Sorting recycled material off a conveyor belt and moving material to the appropriate areas.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the recycling area and yard outside.
- Help maintain equipment such as baler and conveyor line.
- Assuming custodial duties as needed.
- Other manual labor that does not involve the operation of heavy equipment.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform minimal computer related tasks.
- Must be able to stand continually through entire shift.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
