Waste Connections is looking for an In-Person Graphic Design Specialist to join our team in Vancouver, Washington .
This position is in-office, not remote or hybrid
Schedule is Monday-Friday
Shift is 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM
Wage range is $25.50 / HR - $27.50 / HR DOE
Safety Sensitive : Yes
As a Graphic Design Specialist for Waste Connections your skills will help serve the education and outreach marketing needs of greater Clark County and the Waste Connections Columbia River Division.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS :
- Familiarity with Clark County and regional recycling / composting practices.
- Microsoft Office experience (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Express, Adobe Illustrator, & Adobe Photoshop.
- Experience using Canva Teams.
- Excellent self-motivation skills; strong work ethic.
- Strong active listening and communication skills.
- Familiarity with website and social media management.
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
- Experience in business or professional outreach activities and / or public speaking.
- Bachelor's degree in a field related to area of assignment; and sufficient experience needed for the level of the position.
- Proven ability to maintain positive and effective working relationships.
- Must have a valid driver's license, proof of auto insurance, and a good driving record.
