What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Laborer/Heavy Equipment Operator position at Waste Connections?
Pratt Waste & Recycling is looking for a safety conscience Yard Laborer / Heavy Equipment Operator to join our GROWING team in Webster, MA.
Hiring Immediately!
24.00- $25.00 dependent on experience.
Earn quarterly safety incentive bonuses
Annual boot allowance
Hours : Monday through Friday 7am to 3 : 30, Saturdays as needed
Job responsibilities :
Manual labor including paper picking, keeping yard clean and presentable.
Traffic management.
Perform yard work including cutting weeds.
Perform general office maintenance and repairs including painting and janitorial work.
Operating heavy equipment such as : bulldozers, wheel loaders, excavators, scraper, and compactors.
Performing routine inspection and maintenance on equipment.
Promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine safe and environmentally sound solutions to service issues.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements :
2A Hoisting License or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
