Job Responsibilities
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack, handcarts, hoists, cranes) to move materials within the facility.
- Load materials into vehicles while ensuring proper strapping, bracing, and padding installation to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
- Utilize PC tablets to access and input critical information such as part numbers, quantities, locations, and comments.
- Transport materials from storage / work sites to designated areas within the facility.
- Attach identifying tags / labels to materials and mark information on cases, bales, or other containers as needed.
- Accurately document all work performed and maintaining proper records.
- Conduct regular material audits to ensure inventory accuracy and track material status.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
Work Location: In person
