Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of the yard while ensuring that trailers and open tops are properly mapped out and positioned.
- Coordinate the movement of trailers, containers, and open tops within the yard, ensuring efficient organization and timely processing.
- Keep track of available trailers, containers, and equipment in the yard, reporting any discrepancies / shortages to the manager.
- Monitor safety protocols and ensure the yard is operating according to safety regulations.
- Report safety issues and suggest improvements in yard operations.
- Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and serviced regularly as needed.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
