RESPONSIBILITES:

• Operate a tandem axle, cable hook, roll off truck safely and efficiently;
• Drive a tandem axle, commercial straight truck while adhering to all company, local, state, and federal regulations;
• Complete daily tasks as dispatched by the supervisor - usually no less than 8 stops per day;
• Make decisions and problem solve within the parameters allowed that will best benefit the company and customer;
• Remaining open for training, coaching, and improvement;
• Communicate clearly and professionally to all customers, co-workers and contractors;
• Complete daily paperwork and tablet obligations to the level of detail expected from continued training;
• Follow all safety policies and perform in a way that minimizes risks.
• This job will service the Royston/Toccoa area.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

Waste Eliminator offers the best pay rate around Atlanta because we employ the best roll off drivers around town. We pay on a weekly basis and overtime is paid at 1.5x regular rate after 40 hours. For this position, the starting hourly pay can range from $24 to $28, depending on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• This position will be for the Royston and Toccoa area.
• Class B commercial drivers license is required for a minimum of 2 years;
• 2 years' roll off operation experience is required;
• Driving record must have no more than 3 violations in 5 years, no accidents in 3 years, and no disqualifications in 5 years;
• Must have strong work ethic and ownership mentality.
• Must pass all FMCSA requirements for operating a CMV in Georgia.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

• any other heavy equipment: 1 year (Preferred)
• Commercial driving: 2 years (Required)
