Responsibilities
- Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of the equipment in accordance with Company policy to ensure, brakes, lights, horn, and all equipment are in good order.
- Safely and efficiently operate equipment using proper safety standards.
- Dump fiberglass hoppers onsite.
- Clean overflow fiberglass from basement floor with shovels and/or Bobcat.
- Successfully complete Owens Corning online safety training in a timely manner
- Follow all required safety policies and procedures.
- Complete daily maintenance tasks on the equipment.
- Complete daily tasks as directed by the supervisor in a cooperative and consistent manner.
- Understand the operations to make the best decisions and problem solve that will best benefit the company.
- Communicate clearly to coworkers and supervisors.
- Continuously monitor the condition of the equipment to ensure it is always operationally ready to minimize down time; clean wheels on equipment, as needed.
- Complete Equipment Condition Report and other reports, as necessary; report any necessary repairs to supervisor, as needed.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Forklift Certification
- 2 years’ forklift experience
- Ability to work in a Drug Free Workplace; must pass drug and alcohol testing.
- Available Sat & Sun 8:00pm - 4:00am
- Strong work ethic and ownership mentality.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and able to work in the elements. Heat/cold/rain.
- Acts with professionalism, courtesy and cooperation toward all plant personnel and co-workers; works with a sense of honesty and trustworthiness.
- Good time management skills to ensure assigned responsibilities are completed in an efficient and safe manner.
- Good follow through ability; ability to reliably adhere to work schedule and follow through on challenges as they arise.
- Ability to adhere to Company policies and procedures; promotes the Company’s safety standards; does not take inappropriate risks.
- Maintains a feeling of pride in work; strives to achieve all goals.
Salary and Benefits:
We pay on a weekly basis and overtime is paid at 1.5x regular rate after 40 hours.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour based on experience
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift (8 pm – 4 am)
- Night shift Saturday & Sunday Only
- Possibly filling in for other employees out sick, vacation, etc.
