What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Welder for Container Shop position at WASTE PRO?
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Waste Pro Welder/Fabricator performs repairs to equipment parts, vehicles, and containers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Performs repairs and maintenance on front, rear load, recycle and roll-off trucks and other assets when necessary.
* Cuts/welds repairs to vehicle floors, bodies, packing blades, rails, fabrication.
* Welds steel and aluminum components using MIG gun and arc welding equipment.
* Bends steel components using a break ad shear
* Cuts steel using a plasma cutter or torch.
* Fabricates steel components on trucks and containers.
* Maintains Shop cleanliness by sweeping welding debris, cleaning the welding area and disposing of trash to ensure a clean safe work environment.
* Follows all safety policies and procedures.
* Completes required paperwork.
* Performs other job-related duties as assigned
OTHER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Employees in this job classification must attend and participate in corporation sponsored training courses as assigned.
* Employees in this job classification are responsible for keeping up to date on current technology, as job appropriate, being used by Waste Pro USA.
* Any additional job duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.
