Essential Job Functions
Plumbing Sales Representative :
- Develop, follow, and close leads: Develop relationships with clients and prospective clients, understand how our client make buying decisions, and win projects.
- Assess Project Requirements : Review projects to determine the scope of work for plumbing systems, including pipework, fixtures, fittings, and related infrastructure.
- Prepare Accurate Estimates : Generate detailed and competitive cost estimates for plumbing jobs, considering labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor needs.
- Site Visits : Conduct on-site visits to assess plumbing conditions and gather additional information needed for accurate estimates (e.g., existing infrastructure, space restrictions, accessibility, etc.).
- Consultation : Collaborate with clients, contractors, and engineers to discuss project requirements, clarify any uncertainties, and offer recommendations for cost-effective solutions.
- Bidding & Proposal Preparation : Prepare and submit formal bids and proposals for plumbing projects in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and tenders.
- Risk Management : Identify potential risks during the estimation process, such as supply chain disruptions or complex system requirements, and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Job Scheduling : Develop and maintain an efficient job schedule for all commercial plumbing projects, ensuring that all tasks are assigned, completed on time, and within the required scope.
- Handoff projects to Operations: Monitor progress of ongoing projects and adjust schedules accordingly to accommodate projects.
- Project Management : Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, job schedules.
- Customer Service : Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring clients are informed throughout the job lifecycle.

Qualifications
CERTIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; minimum of one-year related customer support experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Efficient with Microsoft Office.
- Able to handle large amounts of paperwork.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem solving.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
- Plumbing License (depending on local regulations).
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
- Sales background or experience in customer interfacing
- Proven experience in Construction Sales (3 years preferred).
- Proven experience in job scheduling and project management (2 years preferred).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail in estimating, scheduling, and document preparation.
- Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and other scheduling and estimation software.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively handle client inquiries and concerns.
