Wastequip has an immediate opportunity for a Warehouse Associate to support our Pompano Beach, FL Site. This is a full-time position with great benefits including but not limited to Health Insurance, 401K Plan, Paid Vacation / Sick time, and so much more. The ideal candidate will utilize a forklift to move raw materials, parts and finished goods throughout the plant and provide support in multiple departments.
Summary of essential job functions
Experience picking orders in quantities that can vary greatly
- Dependable, fast, and efficient while maintaining quality work ethic
- Detailed-oriented and highly accurate
- Inventory, productivity and process awareness
- Excellent communication skills with customers and team
- Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment
- Support sales by processing parts orders for shipment
- Responsible for sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves , or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product
- Shipping and receiving experience / Put parts away
- Able to lift, stoop and bend without restriction repeatedly over the course of a shift
- Occasional lifting of 50 lbs.
- Consistent walking and climbing
- Maintain work truck, warehouse and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
