Position can sit out of our Charlotte, NC office or remote out of Atlanta, GA.
Wastequip is currently looking to hire a Retail Account Manager. This person will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with merchants to drive sales and achieve business objectives. This role involves overseeing the sales performance of national accounts, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and creative solutions. Ideal candidates need to posses strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills to meet both Toter's and retailers needs efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key national retail accounts such as The Home Depot, Lowes, and Walmart to drive business growth and customer retentionAnalyze sales data, market trends, and account performance weekly to identify opportunities and risksCollaborate with internal teams (customer service, finance, logistics, supply chain) to ensure business efficiency.Prepare and execute business line reviews for all key national retail accountsNegotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve profitable outcomes for both Toter and key retail accountsMonitor competitor activities and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive advantageDevelop and execute yearly annual operating plans aligned with overall business strategyPrepare and present weekly performance reports, forecasts, and key initiatives to leadershipPrepare forecasts for internal operations to plan capacity to ensure we have inventory on hand to meet retailers’ lead time requirementsEDI supportResponsible for ensuring Toter's shipping teams follow compliance requirements to minimize fines and chargebacks.Responsible for quoting small hardware dropship business through the use of SalesforceDevelop and execute omnichannel strategies to maximize sales, customer engagement and brand presenceManaging both in-store and online business to ensure customers have a seamless purchasing experience through all retail channels.Qualifications :
2 years of related sales experienceStrong leadership and negotiation skills.Experience with Strategic planning and sales performance management.Experience in Relationship-building, working with 3rd party vendors, and be customer satisfaction focus.Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.Ability to identify growth opportunities and align with business goals.Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM software25% travel is requiredAbout Wastequip
