WasteXperts is seeking a Lead Porter to join its team!
As a Lead Porter, you will visit various multifamily properties to provide daily upkeep and janitorial duties that include but are not limited to the interior and exterior of buildings, walkways, stairways, common areas, tour routes, and parking lots/structures. Additionally, you are responsible for certain leadership duties such as training team members, performing quality assurance checks, providing service coverage, and building professional relationships with on-site staff.
Lead Porter Responsibilities:
- Train new and existing team members to ensure consistent adherence to cleaning and maintenance standards.
- Conduct regular quality assurance checks to verify tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Cover responsibilities of absent team members to ensure continuity of service.
- Foster positive relationships with on-site clients through professional communication.
- Exhibit flexibility in handling dynamic work environments, including adapting to urgent client or operational needs.
- Collect trash from all interior and exterior receptacles and common areas; pick up loose debris and dispose of animal droppings across the property.
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, and dust surfaces as needed.
- Wipe down walls, entryways, and tour routes, reporting any repairs or painting needs.
- Clean restrooms, including surfaces, floors, toilets, urinals, trash bins, and supplies.
- Empty and reline waste receptacles, including doggie bag stations.
- Maintain dog parks by removing waste and ensuring overall cleanliness.
- Inspect and maintain entryways, tour routes, and common areas throughout the day.
- Report building damage or leaks to apartment staff with photo documentation.
- Communicate with the Operations team for additional services like repairs or pressure washing.
- Take before-and-after photos for quality control and documentation.
Requirements
Qualifications/Physical Requirements:
- Available to work Monday- Friday 6 am start time.
- Valid driver’s license (non-CDL) for at least 2 years and clean driving record
- Must have two or more consecutive years of driving in the USA.
- Experience providing high attention to detail in the cleaning and maintenance of facilities
- Frequently lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Work independently to complete daily assignments
- Work well with others with strong communication skills in a team environment
- Strong time management skills
Salary : $22 - $25
