What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Teacher position at Watauga County Schools?
Qualifications:
Individual must have obtained a high school diploma. A GED without an associate's degree does not meet the requirements. Potential substitutes MUST meet with a principal or assistant principal in Watauga County Schools to obtain a recommendation for employment.

Rate of Pay:
Individuals who hold a valid North Carolina Professional Educator's Certificate will receive $140 per day. All other individuals will be paid $113 per day.
