DESCRIPTION:
- Support individuals with disabilities in obtaining a job, learning workplace expectations, and performing job duties in a community employment job.
- Develop community employment sites and provide on-site training of job responsibilities and appropriate social skills for adults with disabilities.
- Assess individual interests, natural supports, and skills to assure job placements are compatible with each individual’s needs.
- Maintain on-going communication and positive relationships between employers, program participants, and various agencies.
- Regional travel required among Buncombe and Madison counties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work with adults with disabilities.
- Must be flexible in work duties and work hours (will include some nights, weekends and holidays).
- High School Diploma and 4 years of work experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Background check, MVR check, Driver's License with acceptable driving record, and reliable vehicle required.
