DESCRIPTION:
- Assist residents in their home with personal care and hygiene goals, daily living skills, personal safety, recreation/leisure skills, and community activities, i.e., shopping, eating out, exercise, recreation, church, etc.
- Implement residents’ goals according to their individual plans.
- Administer medications and prepare meals.
- Keep accurate records and documentation of daily activities and progress for each participant as required by service standards.
- Act as an advocate and communicate professionally with other agencies, families, staff, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma and ability to effectively work with adults with developmental disabilities.
- Need ability to keep accurate records and work independently.
- Must be able to actively assist participants in varied activities and locations related to service delivery.
- Background/MVR check with acceptable driving record, Driver’s License, and reliable vehicle required.
DETAILS:
- Part Time.
- Evening and Weekend hours, 15-25 hours per week.
