DESCRIPTION:
- Provide residential fill-in and back up services for Group Home Shift Leaders and IDD staff while assuring residents’ health and safety and providing a home atmosphere.
- Administer medications and support residents in their home with personal care, meals, and daily living skills.
- Provide positive community integration experiences and related educational activities for day service participants.
- Implement participants’ goals according to their individual plans.
- Keep accurate records and documentation of daily activities and progress for each participant/resident as required by applicable standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school education and two years of experience in related area or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to effectively work with adults with developmental disabilities.
- Background check, MVR check with acceptable driving record, and reliable vehicle required.
DETAILS:
- Full Time, 40 hours per week.
- Tentative hours are 10:30am - 6:30pm unless providing fill-in or back up for group home staff.
- Schedule varies based on fill-in needs.
- Flexibility and ability to stay overnight required.
