Child Care Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and the ability to create a safe, nurturing, and educational environment. This role involves caring for infants and toddlers, facilitating their development through engaging activities, and ensuring their well-being in a daycare or classroom setting.

Duties

• Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
• Educate children through age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, emotional, and social development.
• Implement behavior management techniques to foster positive interactions among children.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom or daycare environment conducive to learning and play.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Observe and document children's development milestones and behaviors to tailor activities to their needs.
• Collaborate with other childcare staff to create a cohesive educational experience for all children in care.

Experience

• Previous experience in childcare, including toddler care and infant care, is preferred.
• Familiarity with childhood development principles and caregiving best practices is essential.
• Experience in a classroom or daycare setting is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to manage behavior in a positive manner while maintaining a supportive atmosphere for learning.
