Watch Me Shine is looking for a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) in the Bangor area to work in a school-based setting that provides speech therapy services to preschool and school-aged children in accordance with their individual treatment plan goals.
- No Travel Required***
- Evaluating existing and creating new treatment programs, plans of care, goals and discharge plans for clients as related to Speech-Language Therapy needs on an ongoing basis.
- Administering diagnostic speech and language evaluations and screenings based on individual student needs.
- Assessing client status and recommending, in writing, the need for a rehabilitation program, either restorative or maintenance.
- Implementing the service delivery model most appropriate to the student’s degree of severity.
- Choosing therapy materials to meet the needs, age, cultural differences, and interests of individual students.
- Providing quality speech-language therapy treatment 1-5 days a week in 30-minute sessions. Sessions may be in a classroom or in the speech office, depending on the environmental needs of each student.

- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited College or University.
- Current license/registration by State of Maine as a Speech Language Pathologist.
