JOB OBJECTIVES

You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day protection of retail store assets and enforcing asset protection strategies. Work directly with our Insurance Broker and Legal Department to ensure compliance with retail pull levels, off-sight event insurance coverage, reporting losses, etc.
Lead and manage the Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) program to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards at WOSG. Utilize in-depth knowledge of OSHA requirements to establish and maintain safe and environmentally sound workplaces in Retail locations and Corporate Offices. Provide guidance on risk mitigation, promote culture of safety, and implement best practices to protect colleagues and the environment.
Leveraging your extensive Asset Protection and leadership skill set, you will act as support to the Director or Retail Operations, providing consultative partnership to solve challenges related to Asset Protection.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enforce asset protection protocols, policies and procedures in retail showrooms, boutiques and corporate facilities aligning with the UK Audit & Asset Protection Department and USA Retail Operations.
- Enhance and expand our existing Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) program, ensuring full compliance across our retail and corporate teams, as well as contractors involved in our store development projects across the USA. Champion a culture of safety and collaboration while implementing effective EHS strategies to safeguard colleagues, partners, and project outcomes.
- Responsible for the ongoing analysis of loss prevention exposures and development/implementation of cost effective, proactive risk mitigation programs.
- Supervise and maintain all avenues of reporting losses to insurance carrier.
- Responsible for developing and implementing new security designs for store renovations and new store openings.
- Ensure that physical security for people, goods and facilities is complying and in good condition.
- Investigate incidents (internal and external) on robberies and instances of fraud and update all files on reported losses.
- Partner with IT Department for exception reporting or other Asset Protection/auditing tools that SAP may offer.
- Participate in projects to identify process improvements to current inventory management processes, systems, and auditing tools.
- Subject matter expert to collaborate with Learning & Development on training and with Manager of Legal Affairs on company policies.
- Work with counterparts in the UK
- Prepare training and awareness sessions for all the levels of the company’s personnel concerning asset protection measures, policies and operating procedure, robberies, instances of fraud, active shooter, and emergencies.
- Ensure that transfer procedures, shipments to clients, and shipping guidelines are respected and complied with.
- Partner with the Inventory Control Department to ensure compliance to all required physical inventory counts. Involved with systems conversions for newly acquired showrooms to include reticketing and physical inventories.
- Oversee the Facilities & Security Department, responsible for bidding and sourcing new vendors for security equipment, alarm services, guard services and maintenance services for the company. Responds to emergencies after hours, supervises/schedules guards to ensure compliance with standards. Follows up with open maintenance issues reported to our 3rd party maintenance provider; and reviews the monthly Health & Safety checklists submitted by retail teams. Supervises and coordinates security measures during special events, weather related emergencies, or other emergencies. Maintains the emergency contact listing for all mall/security offices for all retail locations,
- Develop direct contacts and act as a liaison agent between the company and the external services (Police, Fire Department, insurance adjuster, etc.).
- Carry out all other tasks related to Asset Protection, Inventory Control and Security & Facility.

- EDUCATION
- BA degree from four-year institution
- EXPERIENCE
- 3 years of leading Asset Protection function, preferably in luxury retail
- 5-10 total years of experience in related positions (e.g., security, inventory control, internal audit, health & safety, etc.).
- SKILLS
- Excellent planning, multi-tasking in fast paced environment, and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Sound judgement with ability to make quick, informed decisions.
- Strong Computer skills, Web Navigation, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
- SAP experience preferred (or other enterprise level ERP system)
- Previous experience with Security/Asset Protection affiliated equipment (C.C.T.V/Alarm Systems) is strongly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with all levels of management.
- Excellent leadership skills imperative to the position.
