We are currently looking for an Assistant Bookkeeper to join our team in our downtown Miami office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Position Overview

The Assistant Bookkeeper will report directly to the Office Manager and support the companys financial operations by handling day-to-day bookkeeping tasks. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. The ideal candidate has prior experience in bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial reconciliation, and enjoys working in a structured yet family-oriented business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts & Financial Management

  • Assist with reconciling bank and credit card accounts to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Review and organize credit card charges , ensuring proper categorization.
  • Process and manage vendor invoices and payments , ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
  • Generate and maintain customer invoices , follow up on outstanding balances, and update records accordingly.

Administrative & Filing Duties

  • Maintain an organized filing system for financial documents, receipts, and other records.
  • Assist in managing paperwork for transactions, invoices, and reconciliations .
  • Ensure all financial documents are correctly categorized and easily accessible .
  • Financial Recordkeeping & Reporting

  • Assist in monthly and quarterly financial reconciliations to support accounting accuracy.
  • Compile basic financial reports for internal review.
  • Help track business expenses and operational costs .
  • General Office Support

  • Work closely with the Office Manager to support general bookkeeping functions.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Assist in organizing financial audits and tax-related documentation .
  • What Were Looking For

    Experience & Skills :

  • 1-3 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or related experience (preferred).
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and other accounting software (or willingness to learn).
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial recordkeeping.
  • Bilingual (Spanish / English) is a plus.
  • Key Qualities :
