- Develop new customer sales
- Utilize various prospecting methods to generate new sales leads and solicit freight
- Cultivate sustainable customer relationships and encourage customer growth
- Deliver cost-effective solutions that will attract and retain customers
- Manage broker and customer service aspects of assigned shipments and/or customer accounts

- Broker transportation shipments and securing carrier capacity
- Track & trace customer shipments
- Provide customer support to meet their needs and address issues
- Conduct spot pricing, rate negotiations to meet margin requirements, and ensure maximum profitability, and handle related concerns
- Meet all customer compliance requirements including but not limited to level of service, lane compliance, and communication timeframe
- Procurement-working with various suppliers ranging from motor carriers, intermodal and rail suppliers to secure capacity for movements each day.
- Compliance-navigate the supplier contracting and vetting process to ensure suppliers have the proper operating authority and the necessary insurance to operate safely and effectively.
- Freight Audit/Payment-understanding how suppliers invoice for their services and the processes developed to efficiently audit and a pay suppliers.
- Customer Invoicing-ensuring timely and accurate invoicing to the client and pay terms.
- Design / Engineering-developing the most efficient network design and pricing proposal for the client.
