Responsible for setting railcars up for vehicle loading while prepping, closing, chock placement, and securing trucks. They are responsible for cleaning up the facilties as needed. May be asked to perform other duties as requested or required.

Description
Responsible for setting railcars up for vehicle loading while prepping, closing, chock placement, and securing trucks. They are responsible for cleaning up the facilties as needed. May be asked to perform other duties as requested or required.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Prep multi-level railcars per Appendix B of the AAR Manual.
- Lube railcar doors, pin assemblies and door tracks
- Use back pack blowers to clean debris from multi- level decks
- Inspect flat cars for defects
- Placement of vehicles securement devices (wheel chocks)
- Remove snow and ice from railcar decks
- General facility maintenance (clean, sweep, take out trash, etc.)
- Perform other duties as required.
- High school education or general education development (GED); must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
- The team member is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and elements, noise, and fumes from gas, oil, and grease.
