The Watco team is dedicated to keeping the world's supply chain moving. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient handling of crude oil at our Tioga Terminal.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Railcar Loading Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating equipment, inspecting railcars, and performing daily tasks to ensure seamless product transfer.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain regular attendance and high performance standards* Follow written and verbal instructions to complete assigned tasks on schedule* Read, write, and communicate in English, and understand basic math* Learn from directions, observations, and mistakes, and apply procedures using good judgment* Complete all applicable documentation, recordkeeping, and daily inventory* Operate in a manner where SAFETY and the ENVIRONMENT are of the highest importance* Climb onto top and underneath railcars to inspect, hook up, disconnect, and seal* Perform daily inspections on all stationary and mobile equipment* Prepare equipment for product transfer* Start, stop, and operate equipment within defined operating parameters* Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements* Ability to work outside majority of the time and withstand extreme weather conditions* Must be able to work with a team, take direction, and follow work rules, as well as, take on additional job responsibilities as needed or assigned* Flexibility to work overtime and weekends based on production needs* Goal oriented and results driven* Ability to learn and become proficient in all aspects of the operation* Ability to perform physically demanding work
Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent* Valid driver's license preferred
