Overview: The Delivery Technician will be responsible for the delivering, installations and work order completion of hot tubs, replacement covers and associated accessories. The Delivery Technician will work in lock step with the Delivery Coordinator to ensure a timely delivery of hot tubs. Delivery Technician Duties & Responsibilities
1) DT (Delivery Technician) is the critical component, of the successful delivery and setup, of the hot tubs sold and serviced by Anytown Hot Tubs.
2) DT is responsible for the responsible management of the resources associated with and completion of established timelines for hot tub deliveries.
3) DT thoroughly and in a timely fashion completes the workflow of delivery orders that come from the Delivery Coordinator.
4) This position requires contact with multiple departments and other businesses, to ensure that products are delivered in a safe and timely manner.
5) DT follows the planned deliveries and routes that are set by the Delivery Coordinator.
6) DT will review pre-delivery notes and solicit any additional needed information from Delivery Coordinator.
7) DT will assist the Warehouse Manager as needed in the pick and prep of all needed products to complete deliveries as stated in the sales orders.
8) DT will execute the removal and processing (return to shop or disposal of) any trade-in hot tubs as referenced in sales orders.
9) DT will ensure the needed delivery documents and associated paperwork are completed and returned to Delivery Coordinator after all deliveries.
10) DT will work with Delivery Coordinator when additional staffing is needed to safely complete a job.
11) Promptly elevate all “Rapid Response” issues that are ever uncovered.
12) Maintains effective work relationships with fellow associates and follows the business polices/ business practices within Anytown Hot Tubs as stated in the P&P (Policies and Procedures) manual.
13) As needed attendance of courses including online training offered by all retail partners (Dealer Meetings etc.) These may require overnight travel.
14) Maintain a familiarity with the retail partners (Programs, Updates, Partner Links, Online resources etc).
15) Attend company weekly meetings/training as needed.
16) Follow proper procedures for all employment policies and status changes.
17) Maintain a professional image. Dress attire – business casual (pants/skirt) or professional shorts, wear company provided attire, maintain proper hygiene etc.).
