Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with individuals with mental health , providing support and implementing behavior intervention plans. This role is crucial in promoting the well-being and development of our clients through patient care and behavioral health strategies.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on the needs of clients with autism and other disabilities.
- Collect and record data on client behavior to assist in research and evaluation.
- Assist in diagnostic evaluations by observing and documenting client interactions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop effective strategies for patient care.
- Provide support during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients.
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills related to behavioral health.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
- Familiarity with research data collection methods relevant to behavioral health.
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and maintain medical documentation accurately.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding medical records management.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
