Location: Water Gap Wellness
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Pay Rate: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour (based on experience)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Rotating weekends required

Our facility provides Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) services for individuals living with mental health and substance use disorders. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you'll play a critical role in supporting our clients' daily routines and progress toward wellness—helping create a safe, structured, and healing environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Monitoring & Documentation
Observe client behavior and progress, and document all relevant information in the electronic medical record. Communicate any concerns to clinical or nursing staff.
- Daily Support & Care
Assist clients with daily routines, ensuring they are where they need to be and following structured programming.
- Crisis Response
Recognize and respond appropriately to crisis situations using trained intervention strategies, always prioritizing client and staff safety.
- Transportation & Escorting
Escort clients to meals, appointments, and other scheduled activities on-site. Provide transportation to off-site appointments or between facilities when required.
- Confidentiality & Compliance
Maintain full confidentiality of client information and comply with all HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Ongoing Learning
Attend required training and team meetings to stay current on best practices and continue developing your skills in behavioral health care.
What We're Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment strongly preferred
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong communication, observation, and documentation skills
- Empathetic, team-oriented, and dedicated to client care
