Job DescriptionWater Gap Wellness is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Outpatient Therapist (LPC) to join our team. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality care, supporting patients in their journey toward improved mental health and sobriety.
Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional general and psychiatric care to individuals with emotional and psychiatric disorders.
- Provide clinical consultation to clients, families, and external referents as needed.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and any incidents, ensuring clarity and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Apply various therapeutic interventions, including DBT, CBT, and Family Systems Therapy, tailored to individual client needs.
- Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with staff, patients, families, and external agencies.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Must hold an LPC, LCSW, LPCC, LCDA, or be actively working toward licensure.
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in social work or counseling.
- At least 1 year of experience working in substance abuse, addiction treatment, mental health, or behavioral health.
- Proficiency in utilizing therapeutic techniques such as DBT, CBT, and Family Systems Therapy.
- Strong ability to work empathetically in a supportive, caring, and non-judgmental manner.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and care planning.
