What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Technician position at Water Heater Warehouse, LLC?
Role and Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain water heater systems in residential and commercial properties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with water heater systems, including gas, propane, electric, and tankless models
- Perform routine maintenance on water heater systems to ensure proper functioning and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines when working with gas and electricity
- Communicate effectively with customers, answering questions and providing recommendations as needed
- Document all work completed, including parts used and time spent on each job
- Keep a clean and organized work area, including the service vehicle
- Report to assigned job location timely and professionally
- Maintain accurate inventory on truck
- Maintain professional image
- Work on-call as scheduled
Expectations:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Flexibility to work on-call and outside of regular business hours as needed
