*This position is full-time, 32 hours per week. Starting range is between $18.03 to $20.29 per hour.
Serves the worship department by administratively coordinating direct ministry activities, attending planning meetings, organizing events, plus provides a wide-variety of administrative support for the Directors over the area. Assists with organizing and maintaining worship department databases. Serves on the front line of the department and directly interfaces and supports the worship department’s volunteers.
Provide administrative coordination for the worship department. Manages schedules, plans meetings, approved Independent Contractor payments and invoices, and events including all logistical needs for weekly and monthly activities and special events including ordering supplies, food, rental spaces, etc. Answer email and phones, maintain calendar, maintain filing systems such as Google Drive for department organization, coordinate material ordering and production. May prepare material for program using a variety of methods, including social media tools, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher. Provides administrative support for expense reports, Shelby, and budgets.
Coordinate front line ministry activities for worship department recruiting, training, scheduling volunteers to facilitate various ministry activities. Utilizes and maintains worship department databases for volunteers such as: Planning Center Online and Fellowship One. Coordinates worship department events, activities, and manages all food needs including maintaining weekend snacks for worship teams. This may include evening, weekend and some offsite work. Engage with and encourage volunteers and trouble shoot issues as they arise.
Work with department staff to build and enhance the department function and its various programs such as SOM, Music/Vocal Clinics, and Rehearsals. This includes designing and developing new materials, researching, contacting community agencies or other organizations for resources or ideas, participating in development of curriculum and training products and other program specific tools.
Serve as liaison with other WOLCC departments and programs, communicating department needs, requesting assistance with scheduling and logistics, providing information to other departments, coordinating calendars.
Participate in “All-In” events, Prayer Mountain, Spiritual Growth Check List, etc. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- 3 years’ professional experience in an administrative role supporting a program or a business unit
- Strong oral, written and editorial skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate knowledge of music theory
- Experience with scheduling and database management in an administrative or equivalent role
- Intermediate knowledge of office technology tools including web-based, Facebook, Instagram, MS Office, Publisher and database use; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Friendly, flexible, able to multitask, enjoys working with all kinds of people
- Evening and weekend hours, as required
