**Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of tasks to restore properties affected by water damage, fire, or mold. The ideal candidate will have experience in the restoration industry and possess the necessary skills to effectively clean and restore properties to their original condition. **Responsibilities** - Conduct thorough assessments of properties to identify the extent of damage. - Implement the necessary procedures for mold remediation, water damage restoration, and asbestos abatement. - Operate power tools and hand tools to clean and restore surfaces. - Use specialized equipment and techniques to remove fire damage and restore properties to their original condition. - Perform carpet cleaning and other cleaning tasks to restore the interior of properties. - Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure to meet tight deadlines. - Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently. - Document all work performed, including any materials used and any necessary follow-up work. **Requirements** - Proven experience in the restoration industry, preferably in water damage restoration, fire restoration, or mold remediation. - Familiarity with power tools and hand tools commonly used in the restoration industry. - Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols for working with hazardous materials. - Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and to work in confined spaces. - Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and bending for long periods. - Strong attention to detail to ensure all work is completed to a high standard. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with colleagues and clients. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet tight deadlines. - Certification in asbestos abatement or mold remediation is an asset. - Certification in water damage restoration is an asset. - A valid driver's license is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

• Restoration: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response Training (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
