The Company
Water Resources Group owns and provides services to a family of self-performing general contractors in the civil sector of construction. These companies perform work in the Upper Midwest and Mountain West regions of the United States from offices in Deerwood, MN, Monticello, MN, Golden, CO, Fargo, ND, and Watertown, SD.
Primary Function
The Field Mechanic will diagnose, repair or overhaul, and maintain heavy construction equipment in the field and will maintain related services records, parts inventory, and a well-organized repair vehicle.

Educational Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent supplemented by specialized repair courses in diesel mechanics. Valid Commercial DL.
Travel Needs
Daily travel required. Home most nights.
Practical Knowledge
Knowledge of tools, procedures, technical skills, and safety rules used in the maintenance and repair of gasoline, diesel, and alternative powered equipment, written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of Federal and State regulations.
Work Experience
At least three (3) years experience as a mechanic in a trucking or heavy equipment environment, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

$33.00 /hour DOQ plus full benefits
