Water’s Edge Dermatology, an AQUA Dermatology portfolio practice, is Florida’s largest and most comprehensive full-service skin care provider in the Southeast, offering medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, plastic surgery, vein care, and radiation oncology. We are seeking a part-time administrative individual to help support our call center.
QUALIFICATIONS
Founded in 1998, AQUA Dermatology is the Southeast’s premier dermatology practice, with over 100 locations throughout Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. Our established practices and experienced physicians offer patients the highest quality outcomes and an exceptional patient experience. From common rashes to skin cancer treatments and plastic surgery procedures to an array of vein treatments, no case is beyond our knowledge and expertise.
Essential Functions
- Logging biopsy results for all Pathology Coordinators.
- Review logs for missing pathology reports and contact the labs associated with said reports.
- Scanning records into patients’ charts.
- Created certified letters, addressed and mailed them to patients.
- Assisting in making phone calls to patients with benign results.
- Documenting all communication in detail in EMR.
- Works effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
- Other duties and responsibilities, as required

POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
- Part-Time
- Monday – Friday
- 8 am – 5 pm
- 1 day a week in the office, after training with 4 days at home
QUALIFICATIONS
Education - This position requires completing at least a High School Degree or equivalent.
Experience – Has experience working in an office setting.
Communication – Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work Style—The candidate must be able to work well independently but ask for help when needed. The candidate must also be able to analyze and interpret information, interact with others, and decipher information telephonically and electronically.
