Water's Edge Resort and Spa is currently accepting applications for a Seasonal Restaurant Supervisor.
**This is a seasonal position that runs from May through the end of September.**
Seasonal Restaurant Supervisor responsibilities include assisting Food and Beverage and Restaurant Managers in all aspects of the restaurant to ensure superior guest satisfaction, positive employee relations, and the overall success of the restaurant. To be considered for this role, you should be familiar with restaurant operations and have a good understanding of what it takes to give a stand out customer experience. Our key goal is to give our customers a dining experience they will remember.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of the house staff
- Supervise wait staff and provide assistance
- Assist with new employees’ proper on-boarding and continual staff training
- Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
- Gather guests’ feedback and field guest concerns in a professional, timely manner
- Monitor and follow cash handling policies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous Restaurant Supervisor experience or similar role in the hospitality industry
- Familiarity with a POS system
- Excellent customer service skills
- Clear and concise communication and team management abilities
- Reliable transportation
- Availability to work various hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends) May through September
