Boat Yard Worker

Summary:

Hampton River Marina II, LLC is looking to fill crew member positions for our upcoming season. Assist with hauling, launching blocking and unblocking boats. Pressure washing and tidying up the yard to keep it safe and operational.

(April 15th - Nov 1st). The ideal candidate will have a love for the water, a can-do attitude, and a readiness to tackle various tasks to keep our marina operating smoothly by providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a safe and clean environment. This position requires you to have reliable transportation and you must show up to work on time and ready to start the day. This is the perfect position for anyone looking to start a new career in the Maritime Industry.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assisting hauling, launching, racking & blocking and unblocking boats.
• Maintaining the yard to keep it tidy, safe and operational.
• General facilities & property maintenance as needed.
• Various tasks to keep our marina operating smoothly.
• Work with the marina team to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a marina or boating environment a plus but not a must.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication both verbal and written.

Flexible availability, weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.94 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed
